Shop drawings, fabrication-ready, on your timeline
Steel, millwork, casework, glazing, and storefront shop drawings produced to your fabrication standards and your project deadlines. Same time zone as your shop. Same-day RFI cycles. Files clean enough to drop straight onto the floor.
A shop drawing is doing one job: getting a part fabricated correctly the first time. Anything else is overhead. We produce shop drawings for fabricators, GCs, and millwork shops who need clean, fabrication-ready files without the overhead of in-state hiring or the 12-hour offset of offshore detailing.

What buyers ask before sending us their first project
What types of shop drawings do you produce?
+
Steel structural and miscellaneous metals, millwork, casework, glazing and storefront, ductwork, piping, and rebar shop drawings. The bulk of our volume is steel and millwork, but we have detailers across all of these disciplines.
What is a shop drawing, and how is it different from a working drawing?
+
A working drawing (or contract document) shows design intent — what the architect or engineer wants built. A shop drawing translates that design intent into specific fabrication instructions for a particular fabricator: exact dimensions, materials, hardware, connections, finishes, and assembly details. Shop drawings are submitted for review and then used on the shop floor and at the job site. See our working drawings vs shop drawings guide for a fuller breakdown.
How do you handle approvals and RFIs?
+
RFIs are resolved same-day during your business hours — we operate on Mountain Standard time year-round. Submittal logs are maintained on your firm letterhead. Approval-with-notes packages get the notes incorporated and re-submitted within the timeline you set, not on a 24-hour offset.
Do you produce KISS, NC, and DSTV files for CNC?
+
Yes. Steel detailing deliverables include KISS, NC, DSTV, Fabtrol, and material take-off reports — whatever your CNC equipment and fabrication management software requires. We match the file format to your shop, not the other way around.
What standards do you produce shop drawings to?
+
AISC 360 and AWS D1.1 for steel, AWI Quality Standards for architectural woodwork and millwork, IBC compliance documentation, OSHA 1926 for safety-relevant details. We can produce to your firm-specific standards once they are documented.
How does pricing work for shop drawings services?
+
Per-project pricing on a fixed scope. For ongoing fabrication work we offer dedicated capacity at fixed monthly rates. Most steel and millwork shop drawing projects fall in a $35 to $60 per hour equivalent — substantially below in-state U.S. detailers. We avoid open-ended hourly billing.
Can you handle high-volume fabrication shops?
+
Yes. Several of our ongoing relationships are with mid-size U.S. fabricators producing thousands of tons of steel or hundreds of millwork projects per year. We scale dedicated capacity to match your backlog.
Send your scope. Get a real quote in 24 to 48 hours.
No commitment, no sales sequence. Tell us about your project and we'll respond with a real number, a real schedule, and a named team.
